From Vision to Reality: Launching My Senior Rep Program for the Class of 2026

I’ve been dreaming about launching a senior rep program for years.
But truthfully? The idea of starting something completely new — building a brand-new program, creating all the pieces, and marketing something I’d never done before — it felt overwhelming. That fear kept the dream as just that… a dream.
Until this year.
At the start of this summer, a close friend reached out about her daughter’s senior portraits for the upcoming school year — and that gentle reminder was the push I needed to finally bring this program to life. The timing felt right, as I had already taken on a few big life changes — namely, homeschooling my 5-year-old (entering 1st grade), my 4-year-old (starting Pre-K), all while juggling life with our son (who is nearly a year old). So naturally, it felt like the perfect time to launch a whole new job, right?
As crazy as it sounds, this has been a season of growth, of stepping into who I believe God has called me to be. I truly believe that with His strength, I can carry the weight of what He’s placed on my heart. So here we are, diving headfirst into the launch of a brand-new senior spokesmodel team for the Class of 2026.
Over the past few months, I’ve been:
Advertising to attract a team of local high school seniors
Designing welcome kits and program guides
Building a points system with incredible prizes
Reviewing applications and building a well-rounded rep team
Brainstorming unique Rep Mini Sessions and collaborating with local businesses
And honestly? I couldn’t have asked for a better group of students to launch this with. This first team includes seven amazing seniors from different schools, interests, and backgrounds. I want to introduce each of them, and give you a little sneak peek at their upcoming custom senior sessions!

Meet the 2026 Senior Rep Team
Keira – Homeschool
Keira was the spark that finally pushed me to bring this dream to life. She’s a family friend, and watching her grow into the woman she is becoming has been such a gift. With a mix of western grit and glam (and a fun streak of chaos), she’s an absolute original. We’ll be photographing her custom senior portrait session at her family’s ranch, Cactus Rose Ranch, which will be complete with horses and personality galore. She’s also homeschooled, like I was, and breaks every stereotype in the best way.

Claudia – Axtell High School
Claudia is from my neck of the woods out here in Axtell. Her style is adventurous and fluid, with a creative spirit that totally inspires me. For her shoot, we’re going moody and artistic, capturing her unique vibe in ways that feel true to her in a local library.

Toni – Lorena High School
Toni brings a beachy, effortless energy to the team. Her custom session will take place in the water at Lake Waco, and I already know it’s going to be pure magic.

Cooper – Valley Mills High School
Cooper is the only guy on the team and he owns it! He has a strong western flair and a hands-on work ethic. His session will take place in his workshop, capturing the projects he’s passionate about — welding, building, and working with his hands.

Rynn – Valley Mills High School
Bright, preppy, and wildly athletic, Rynn is involved in all the sports: softball, basketball, volleyball, track, and cheer. We’re planning a session that shows off every side of her, jerseys and all!

Audri – China Spring High School
Audri brings a classic yet eclectic energy to her sessions. She’s involved in the children’s ministry at our church (Journey Christian Community), and her faith shines in everything she does. Her session will feature her Bible, along with highlighting some favorite spots around downtown Waco, plus some of the city’s most colorful murals.

Macie – Connally High School Macie’s session will showcase her cool, creative side with a shoot at a local record shop. We’ll also highlight her volleyball journey and, of course, get a few shots with her with her adorable English Bulldog.

The First Mini Session: A Dream Come True
Our first rep mini session was the first time I got to meet some of these incredible seniors in person — and wow, did they blow me away. With outfits and accessories provided by The Black Daisy, and the retro vibes of Jake’s Texas Tea House as our backdrop, the entire session came together better than I could’ve imagined.

And these images are just the beginning. I’m already counting down the days to each senior’s full experience session — and yes, I’ve got another rep mini in the works that I cannot wait to share more about soon!
For now, I’m signing off to get back to planning and designing the best possible portrait experience for this amazing group. To the Class of 2026, I’m so honored to be the one capturing your senior year... your style, your story, your personality.
Until next time!
XOXO,
Delaney
